Methodology
TrendSpawn is produced by an automated tracking system. No individual journalist writes the Stories, and Stories are not manually reviewed before publication.
1. Discovering signals
TrendSpawn regularly reads public sources: gaming news outlets, official publisher channels, selected YouTube channels and community sources. Each article, video or post is a signal.
2. Grouping signals into Stories
Signals about the same development are grouped into one Story. A Story keeps a stable identity while new coverage arrives; a genuinely new development becomes its own Story.
3. Central claim
Each Story states its central claim — the specific thing being reported — and whether it is a factual report, an official statement or opinion.
4. Evidence and source trail
Every Story links to the sources it is built from. TrendSpawn distinguishes outlets that report independently from outlets repeating another publication, and highlights first-party confirmation where it exists.
5. Evidence Strength
Evidence Strength describes the quality and independence of the evidence behind the central claim. It is not a probability that the claim is true.
6. Current attention
Ordering on TrendSpawn reflects recent activity and attention across sources. It says what is being talked about now, not whether something is true.
Dates and updates
Each Story shows when it was first published on TrendSpawn. An “Updated” date appears only when the Story's content materially changed. Stories may change as new signals arrive. To report an error, please contact us.
